The calm lagoon in front of Macaw Bungalows is shallow, swimmable, and safe, ideal for wading, floating, paddleboarding, or simply unwinding by the water’s edge.
Just beyond the lagoon, a few hundred meters offshore, are the world-class surf breaks Isla Carenero is known for. What makes Macaw Bungalows special is how naturally it all comes together: surfers can paddle out nearby, while others stay close — enjoying the beach, the café, the lagoon, or a stroll into town.
